Huibert Arnold von Liebenstein, (Medan, 1950)
Huibert is a Dutch visual artist, based in Amsterdam. After finishing the Rietveld Academy, the Amsterdam Graphic Design School and his career as an art director, he developed a passionate love for fine art.
Many of his works are considered 'enigmatic': mysterious pieces of art leaving room for interpretation by the viewer. Huibert's paintings create beautiful ambiance and atmosphere in the room, always stimulating your imagination and senses.

Many people say Huibert's style resembles Jackson Pollock's: the idea of creating paintings without any concept in advance has always been a huge motivation in his works.
